Lucy & Ben's wedding at Stoke Rochford Hall

It was such a beautiful day, with both the bride and groom starting it off in different ways and ending it together.DWP_5187_DFW4508

The bride was holed up in her hotel room, hair and make up being prepared for hours, bridesmaids and mother assisting her to make her as beautiful as she could be on her special day, whilst Ben was at the pub doing his own preparations.

You could tell from the beginning that they were both nervous but had the excitement brewing inside. (I think it was excitement for Ben)

After a nice slow morning preparing Lucy we soon realised we were running out of time and we should get leaving, but not before capturing her stunning dress in all it's glory.

Soon enough we were on the way, Ben driving his beloved MGB to the venue before having to wait for his lovely bride. As soon as she walked through the door of the church you could see his whole insides just lift as he realised he was going to spend forever with the love of his life.

After the beautiful ceremony and the signing of the register, it was quickly to the reception, with the guests bundled in a tractor bus, and the married couple yet again in the MGB. The champagne soon started flowing and we heard some great speeches that had everyone laughing, and the occasional person hiding their head in shame.

In traditional Melton style, it wasn't a cake cutting, but a pork pie and cheese cutting, classic.

From there it quickly moved to the first dance, with everyone quickly getting in a jolly spirit and wanting to get their dancing shoes on. It was an amazing first dance, with a beautiful mix of love and humour, with Ben unable to resist the urge to have a nice squeeze and pull funny faces to the camera, both of them obviously having the time of their lives full of love and joy.

Soon enough the band, The Houndogs soon started playing, with everyone joining in on the dance floor having a laugh, even the musicians started dancing on their instruments, with Ben and the groomsmen having a nice dance to Wipe Out by The Surfaris with David on the drums, on his back, banging away, entertaining everyone.

Eventually, when the night started to settle down I managed to drag the couple away for a few beautiful night shots which I fell in love with, and I'm sure they will too, before leaving them to enjoy the rest of their beautiful wedding with their friends.
